About Bimbola Nutrition

Bimbola Nutrition and Health Foundation

Bimbola Nutrition and Health Foundation (BNHF) was established out of a passion for health and well-being in vulnerable groups, populations at risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and malnutrition. Lower-class people, women, children, and older people are the most vulnerable. NCDs account for about 80% of deaths worldwide. It poses significant threats to human health and may constitute a barrier to gross domestic product (GDP) growth and development. One of the contributors to NCDs is an unhealthy diet and physical inactivity.

Therefore, we target the entire cycle of human life to help reduce the prevalence in groups. Hence preventing the transfer of diseases from one cycle to another. We nip the bud on the tip and prevent further spread. Therefore, we reduce the prevalence of NCDs and undernutrition in communities and groups through stakeholder engagement. Challenges facing low and middle-income countries and people at risk of non-communicable diseases and malnutrition will be tackled with enhanced scientific research, surveillance, and evaluation. Our organisation will constantly review strategies that would minimise malnutrition in the population at risk to the barest minimum. Our tactics and immeasurable plans are being highlighted, and we have a formidable team with the readiness to achieve growth of the country’s GDP through adequate nutrition awareness and interventions.
